HAZTEK IS A FULL-SERVICE, OBJECTIVE SAFETY PARTNER, FOUNDED IN 1997

We are known for our professional consulting services and premium safety training and we are trusted for our effectiveness in keeping workers safe today – so employees and businesses will be here tomorrow. As an independent environmental health and safety consulting firm dedicated to workplace safety, HazTek’s mission is to protect people, property, and the environment from on-site accidents through a combination of education, guidance, motivation, and positive reinforcement.

Our Team of Full-Time Safety Professionals

HazTek employs a staff of over 200 employees, including over 170 full-time, salaried field professionals with various certifications and experience levels — including several CIH specialists. By maintaining a reliable team of full-time safety professionals, we are flexible and can respond quickly with more access to resources. Switching a safety person out of a job can be difficult, but we cross-train our employees to maintain coverage efficiently and effectively.

We are here to support a company’s existing EH&S staff or serve as an entire corporate safety department. No matter what industry sector or level of need, we can help you meet deadlines and stay competitive. HazTek has managed worksite safety and health for many of the nation’s largest and most respected construction management firms and general contractors and we use our extensive industry knowledge and unsurpassed expertise to deliver what is expected, when it is expected.

As we proudly celebrate our 20-year Anniversary during 2017, here are some interesting HazTek facts from the past two decades:

  • We have grown from 2 employees to over 200
  • Our office locations have increased from 1 to 6
  • We started with 0 clients and are now providing services to over 300 customers
  • We have served close to 2,000 customers in our 20 years
  • We have provided safety training for more than 250,000 students
  • Over our 20 years we have been awarded rankings in the prestigious Inc. 5000 list of America’s Fastest Growing Companies 4 times; included in NJBIZ’s Top 250 Largest Privately Held Businesses; and have been recipients of NJ Governor’s Safety Awards for 6 consecutive years
  • We are members of over 30 professional organizations
  • But most of all, we are proud of the hundreds of thousands of lives that were positively affected by our team and resources since we opened our doors in 1997
