HAZTEK NAMES C.J. BEYSSELANCE OPERATIONS MANAGER FOR NEW GULF COAST REGIONAL OFFICE

Experienced HSE professional to tailor company’s premier safety services to meet the demands of the refinery and petro-chemical industries

MEDFORD, NJ, May 7, 2015 — HazTek, a leading provider of comprehensive safety management services, has tapped Charles (C.J.) Beysselance as Operations Manager for its new Gulf Coast Regional Office, soon to be opened in Houston, TX.

With over 30 years of management and technical experience in the field of industrial safety leadership, Beysselance has worked extensively in the refinery and chemical industries.

Prior to joining HazTek, he was Director of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) for Jacobs Engineering in both its Mining and Minerals Americas and Heavy Process Division. Beysselance served as Senior Manager of HSE for the company’s North America Operations and held a number of safety management positions where he supervised field construction and maintenance employees, and managed projects in refineries, chemical processing facilities, and paper mills.

“With his Baton Rouge, Louisiana roots, and his broad experience planning, managing and staffing safety programs for an international provider of engineering and construction services, C. J. brings a wealth of expertise and connections to HazTek and the start-up of its new Gulf Coast operation,” said company CEO Steve Jones.

Beysselance, who will be relocating from the St. Louis area to Houston, TX, attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.

Since 2009, he has served on the Safety Committee for the Construction Users Round Table (CURT). Beysselance was a former Board Member for the Safety and Occupational Health Council of Louisiana; Chairman of the River City Occupational Safety & Health Conference and Exposition; and a member of the Curriculum Development Committee for Greater New Orleans Industrial Education Council.
