Meet Our Management Team
Steve Jones | President
Steve Jones has been working with companies dedicated to preventing worker injuries and illnesses for the past 27 years. As Acting CEO, Jones handles HazTek’s business management side and is responsible for the company finances and the controlled growth of the business while identifying new markets and expanding the company’s geographic reach and services. Prior to starting HazTek, he worked as a Regional Sales Manager for an occupational health, safety, environmental, and industrial hygiene firm and was a Regional Account Manager for a mobile provider of occupational health and medical surveillance services.
A lifelong resident of New Jersey, Jones graduated with B.A. in Communications from Rutgers University. He co-founded HazTek Inc. with Bruce Henderson, growing the company from a small temp service to a business with over 200 employees and six office locations providing safety training and consulting services to clients in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

With more than 26 years of experience, Bruce Henderson’s extensive insight into construction safety, training, contractor safety management, and corporate culture development enables him to manage and act as a technical advisor for HazTek’s team of safety consultants. Over the years he has assisted numerous clients in developing top-notch safety programs.
Henderson is a lifelong resident of New Jersey and holds a B.S. in Environmental Science and Pollution Treatment Sciences from Rutgers University – New Brunswick. He co-founded HazTek Inc. with Steve Jones, growing the company from a small temp service to a business with over 200 employees and six office locations providing safety training and consulting services to clients in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
