Regional Account Manager Dan Woodend represented HazTek and the construction industry at large by joining with the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) for Legislative Day on February 21st in Houston, Texas. Issues at the event included Neutrality in State Government Contracting, Lien Law Modernization, Public Employees Dues Deduction, E-Verify, and License for Journeyman Industrial Electrician.
Dan was quoted on his experience in the Legal News section of Build Houston Online. “It was my first time attending Legislative Day, and it was great coming together with other members who have common interests,” said Dan Woodend, Regional Account Manager at HazTek Safety Management. “I’ve personally been affected by one of the issues we discussed, and I think it was valuable, being able to share that personal experience with our legislators.”
